Blagi was born and raised in Slovenia, Europe. His love for game of tennis started at age 7 when he was recruited by a local tennis club. He quickly became one of the most talented junior players in Slovenia, and was ranked as a top 10 player for 8 consecutive years. In 1998 he was selected into the Slovenian Davis Cup team.After competiing in International Tennis Federation junior tournaments all across Europe, Blagi decided to move to the States and continue his tennis career at Hawaii Pacific University. In his first year Blagi was NCAA National Singles Championship Runner-Up, and two time NCAA National Team Championship Runner-Ups. In 2005 Blagi was an ATP Tour ranked doubles player. After completing his M.B.A in 2005, Blaz moved to Atlanta, Georgia and joined Falls of Autry Mill coaching staff. He has been director of Tennis for last 2 years and is one of the best junior coaches in the South. Blagi works with nationally ranked juniors and collegiate players.
